Belgium’s Loïc Nottet appears to have channelled Kiwi Lorde’s monster global smash 'Royals' for his stripped back clicky entry into the 2015 contest. Young Loïc cites South Australia’s Sia as one of his idols and his cover of her hit 'Chandelier' is pretty impressive and garnered praise from the performer herself. The Belgian will be taking “full creative control” of the staging of his entry and, if his preview clip is anything to go by, expect water and copious amounts of paint (that’d be a Eurovision first) to be flying around the stage. Loïc will easily snap his way into the finals.

What are three interesting aspects about your entry?
- The sharp and rhythmic movements of the singers
- The global atmosphere of the song
- The rhythm that makes me want to dance
What are three impressive facts about you?
- If I haven’t had training in a certain field (for example, composing), I try to teach it myself while learning from my own mistakes.
- I also love tough challenges so that I can push myself without having to set limits.
- I have an enormous fear of mosquitos… I love everything: snakes, spiders, rats... but no mosquitos!
Do you have a (lucky) routine before you go on stage?
I love regaining some strength by consulting the lucky stars.
Why is the Eurovision Song Contest important for you?
To me this contest is really important because it gives artists a chance to gain exposure in front of a large audience.
