Keanu Reeves powers his way through a Hell on Earth in Constantine. Adapted from the Hellblazer graphic novels, John Constantine recognises the half-breed demons and angels living on earth. He hopes to earn his salvation by sending them back. Reeves continues to deliver dialogue as though his mouth is full of porridge, but he's a convincing, moody anti hero. Director Francis Lawrence has created a wonderfully noir nightmare in his debut feature. The special effects and sound design will knock your socks off on what is an imaginative trip through the supernatural.
