Dumb just got dumber thanks to Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg two of the original writers of Scary Movie who now come together to give us Date Movie. Grant Funkyerdoder - Adam Campbell meets and falls in love with Julia Jones - Alyson Hannigan but the course of true love is never easy as people always come with a past and Grant's is his sinister and sexy ex Andy - Sophie Monk. You know the formula all the recent romantic comedies are given the treatment in the most stupid deplorable way. The trouble with this is it's a parody of the parodies and when trying to get blood from a stone you ultimately end up with nothing.
