Cocoon; The Bucket List; The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel; Red; Space Cowboys – movies about old people acting young have been money-spinners in any form. Taking its cue from the 1998 Billy Connolly 'old age rock group' comedy, Still Crazy, is the Macedonian hit Punk's Not Dead (pictured), Vladimir Blazevski's crowd-pleaser about a group of walking-framed codgers who decide to revive the punk band that brought them debauched fun 17 years previously. Macedonia's official entrant for the 84th Academy awards and an audience-award honoree at the prestigious Karlovy Vary Film Festival, it's brand of humour played well with international audiences – hardly surprising, given that under the 'Plot Keywords' section on IMDb is the sole entry, 'Male Rear Nudity'.
