Movie titles can be downright impossible to decipher sometimes, so good on the marketing divisions of the Hungarian film distributors for telling it like it is. Lots more people would have seen Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones in Hope Springs if it had adopted its Hungarian moniker, Amit még mindig tudni akarsz a szexrÅ‘l ("What You Still Want to Know About Sex"); slightly more obscure is Gyalog galopp ("Galloping on Foot"), the local spin on Monty Python and The Holy Grail. The Hungarian title for Alien is officially much creepier: A nyolcadik utas: a Halál, or "8th Passenger: Death". And the release of Woody Allen's Hollywood Ending led to a delicious play-on-words: Hollywoodi történet (or “Holly Woody Story”), which combines the iconic LA suburb with the famed director's surname. Bravo, Hungary!
