Baz Luhrmann's lavish period musical The Great Gatsby is leading the list of contenders for the 2014 AACTA awards, with a total of 14 nominations, including best film.
Luhrmann's film is closely followed by Kim Mordaunt's The Rocket, with the Loatian-language film racking up 11 nominations for the national film industry awards.
Also in the running for 2014 best film honours are Ivan Sen's Mystery Road, the multi-director omnibus The Turning, Catriona Mckenzie's Satellite Boy, and Tony Krawitz's Dead Europe.
The awards will be presented across the 3rd AACTA awards luncheon on January28 and the 3rd AACTA Award on january30.
