A Good Woman is set on the beautiful Italian Riviera in the 1930\'s. Mark Umbers and Scarlett Johansson are high society newly-weds, Robert and Meg Windermere. Enter Mrs. Erlynne - Helen Hunt - a scarlet woman who\'s left a trail of unpaid bills and gossip in her wake. Robert is seen in her company and appears to be providing her with funds, sending the rumour mill out of control. And if that\'s not enough, notorious playboy Lord Darlington, played by Stephen Campbell-Moore, has his sights on Meg.

Thoughtfully adapted to make the most of Wilde\'s witty lines, A Good Woman is a provocative drama that has a lot to say about loyalty. Hunt and Johansson steal the show, and Tom Wilkinson\'s Tuppy grounds the film superbly with his wisdom and common sense. It\'s captivating cinema that plays like a Hollywood classic.
