Clint Eastwood's biopic J. Edgar, will have its world premiere as the opening night film of the American Film Institute's AFI Fest 2011 on November 3.
Leonardio DiCaprio headlines the film, which explores the public and private life of the founding director of the FBI. J Edgar was produced from a script by the Oscar-winning screenwriter of Milk, Dustin Lance Black.
Naomi Watts, Armie Hammer and Judi Dench also feature in the cast.
The 25th AFI Fest runs November 3 - 10 in Hollywood, California.
