Jackass: The Movie Review

Jackass: The Movie is not really a feature film, it's just that it's the length of a feature film. It's more and more of the same from the television series, where a group of young men, Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Steve-O, Dave England, etc, etc - think up stunts, usually involving damage to others or themselves, mainly themselves and laugh themselves silly at the result. Baby alligators biting nipples, muscle stimulators on genitals, skateboards down bowling alleys, snorting wasabi, excreting in a toilet in a plumbing display shop, oh there's lots of toilet jokes and a fair amount of barfing, especially from the cameraman. The movie was made to take the television series further, but at the one hour mark I looked at my watch thinking, enough already. Teenage boys will love Jackass: The Movie, but it's out of my demographic I'm afraid.
