It's easy to think our Jessica has the upper hand at this Eurovision song contest. She was, after all the first Aussie artist to perform on behalf of our country on that stage. She knows how it goes.
But she's got company.
Two other past Eurovision performers will be joining her in Semi-Final 2, on Friday - Norway's Alexander Rybak and Waylon, of The Netherlands.
Comeback kid- Alexander Rybak of Norway
Violinist and quirky lyricist Alexander Rybak won the competition back in 2009. His song 'Fairytale', about a childhood crush, took the competition home by a landslide.
Here he is, jamming away to Australia's 'We Got Love':
Dutch Cowboy - Waylon of Netherlands
Waylon, who is named after American country singer Waylon Jennings, is bringing a bluegrass country tune to Eurovision. It's a unique choice, to say the least. But it's not the first time he's done it.
Waylon came second in 2014, performing in the duo The Common Linnets with Isle DeLange. They performed a soft country ballad, that the audience loved.
His song this year, 'Outlaw in 'Em' does have a lot more grit to it.
He's ranking low in the odds at the moment, so his staging will mean everything if he wants a spot in the finals. PS: we're hearing rumours of krumping...

The Eurovision Song Contest will screen across SBS and SBS On Demand from May 9 -13. For full screening details, and to rate the performances, head to www.sbs.com.au/Eurovision.
