Kylie Minogue has joined the cast of Stephan Elliot’s new feature, Flammable Children, and will join her former Neighbours colleague Guy Pearce in the 1970s-set story of two teens in an Australian beach side suburb.

The film is written and directed by Elliott (The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) and produced by Al Clark (Priscilla, Chopper, Red Hill) and Jamie Hilton (Breath, The Waiting City, Backtrack).

Radha Mitchell is also in the cast of the film, which will be something of a reunion for many of the behind-the-scenes crew from Priscilla. Oscar-winners Colin Gibson  (Mad Max Fury Road production designer) and Lizzie Gardiner (costume designer), composer Guy Gross and editor Sue Blainey will also work on Flammable Children
