Leave it to Beaver Review

Beaver, Cameron Finley, lives in a crime-free middle-class American small town with his Mom and Pop and big brother, Wally. Beaver`s often in trouble, but he successfully butters his father up and so gets a longed-for bicycle for his birthday. But the first day he rides to school, the bike is stolen by an older boy. Meanwhile Wally`s having teenage love pains since Karen, the girl he likes, can`t decide between him and an older boy. And of course there are the usual fights between the brothers...There`s really nothing to say about this bland concoction, except that even fans of the TV series might blanch at this stridently American depiction of a supposedly perfect world. Performances are adequate, direction, by Andy Cadiff, strictly routine.
