SBS is proud to be delivering the Australian premiere of new documentary Margaret Atwood: A Word After A Word After A Word Is Power on Sunday 1 December. The documentary is from directors Nancy Lang and Peter Raymont for White Pine Pictures.
Eighty-year-old Atwood is the author of Booker Prize-winning novel Blind Assassin, The Handmaid’s Tale and its recently released sequel The Testaments.
The documentary covers Atwood’s relationship with her late partner Graeme Gibson, the TV adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale that reinvigorated her career, and the writing of The Testaments. There are also interviews with stars of the TV series, including Elisabeth Moss.
Margaret Atwood: A Word After A Word After A Word Is Power will premiere in Australia on 1 December. After broadcast, it will be available at SBS On Demand.
