You\'ve got to hand it to Billie Dean and Andrew Einspruch, the makers of Finding Joy, a low-budget Australian production made without the help of government funding, there are quite a few of these enterprising little films around at the moment, and this one is actually getting a limited cinema release by way of digital video, not traditional 35mm film, which is something of a first. The film itself is a mild love story for 40-somethings, set in the NSW town of Braidwood and incorporating country and western music and a photogenic dog. It\'s not very substantial, but it\'s attractive enough in its modest way. 2 stars from me - more for effort than artistic acheivement.
