Next Best Thing, The Review

It`s getting to the stage when you know it`s almost getting too late to have a baby and every relationship with a straight man ends up sour... but one night, drunk on martinis or was it margueritas... you and your best gay friend have ... well, congress, I guess.... and you end up pregnant... he has to make the decision whether he wants to be uncle or father to little Sam - yes, it`s a boy... well, Robert (Rupert Everett) opts for fatherhood and makes a damn fine stab at it... but he draws the line at being a husband to Abbie (Madonna) - once was enough... but they create a lovely family until Ben (Benjamin Bratt) turns up.... then a comedy of manners turns to heartbreak...Special Guest on the Movie Show for this review was Stephan Elliot (Directer of Priscilla Queen of the Desert) Rating: 1 star
