The first thing everyone needs to know about me is that I’m a journalist. I see and then I write. I compose. I tell people what to think.

And I only deal in facts.

The latest fact you need to know is that Murder on the Orient Express is the best train movie of all time.

It might be the best movie of all time, but I haven’t seen every single movie, so I’m not prepared to make that call. Yet.

Listen to the hot Murder on the Orient Express takes on The Playlist (49:38):

What makes it the greatest train movie ever?

First of all, it’s mostly set on a train. Also, Michelle Pfeiffer is in it. What else do you need to know?

I know what you’re going to say…

What about Strangers on a Train?

This is better.

What about The Great Train Robbery?

Oh right, some movie from 1735 is the best train movie. That makes sense. (Sarcasm.)

What about Silver Streak?

The '70s were a long time ago, friend.

The General?

Buster Keaton was a hack.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles?

Great movie. Not enough train for this discussion.

Before Sunrise?

Too much talking.

Under Siege 2: Dark Territory?

That is not a real movie.

You get the point.

But don’t take my word for any of this. Listen to Nick and Fiona talk about it on The Playlist:
