Quentin the copycat: New supercut highlights Tarantino’s thieving ways

Some of these are bleedin’ obvious.

We love movies. We know you do too. But do you know who really loves them? Quentin Tarantino. He digs them so much, he puts movies into his movies. Not literally, exactly. He casts different actors, with new clothes and better dialogue, then shoots them in the exact same way as some of his favourite filmmakers. It’s not a secret. His ‘style’ was flagged from the get-go, and it’s only become more pronounced since. Cinema’s greatest cover artist simply believes you can never have enough references, or female feet. That’s cool. I’m not judging. Neither is some fella named Jacob T. Swinney, who decided to patch a few of them together in this 'Genius Directors in Three Minutes' supercut. Enjoy.
