Outside of the half of voting America (which is just half of voting eligible America) that voted for him in November, you’d be forgiven for thinking that absolutely no one likes Donald Trump.
Well, some people would forgive you. Some other people would say, “Get out of your bubble snowflake lock her up build that wall etc”.
And other people might even say, “Hey, talk to the Kurds. They really like Donald Trump.”
In the newest episode of Full Frontal, that is what Samantha Bee discovers when she visits northern Iraq. The Kurds there tell her that they love that Trump is an “advanced man” who “has done many beautiful things”. Also, they like his wrestling.
But mainly, they love that he has sent the Syrian Kurds weapons to fight ISIS. They also believe he supports their right to be an independent state. And last year before the election, Trump did say he was a “big fan” of theirs.
And so they find him wonderful.
As it turns out, they also find Bee to be “shrill”. Well, one guy does.
