This cult comedy, a surprise hit at the time of its release, follows two slacker airheads (Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter) about to fail their history class, but who are given the chance to take an epic trip through time, where they'll get to cross paths with Napoleon, Beethoven, Socrates, Billy the Kid and Abraham Lincoln. They'll learn that Caesar is not just the name of a salad dressing, and many more excellent things, which will help them ace their final exam.

Peggy Sue Got Married

What's it about?

Kathleen Turner earned a Best Actress Oscar nom for her amazing performance as Peggy Sue, a forty-something mother who attends her 25-year high school reunion after separating from her cheating husband, Charlie (Nicolas Cage). When she faints at the reunion, she wakes up in 1960… and is given the chance to change her fate. There are so many great one-liners in this charming comedy by Francis Ford Coppola, which also features cameos from future stars Helen Hunt and Jim Carrey.

Not everyone welcomes the idea, and the deadly consequences set off a renewed turf war.
