Against all the expectations of the scientific establishment, his experiment has proven successful. But when he attempts to teleport himself a fly enters one of the transmission booths, and Brundle finds himself transforming into something beyond human.

What's it about?

For this follow-up to his 1981 cult hit, writer/director Sam Raimi had a budget ten times the size of the first film's (3.6 million), and amped up the cartoonishness present in the original to create a sequel that stands on its own as one of the defining films of the horror-comedy genre. Here, Ash and his girlfriend Linda find a log cabin in the woods with a voice recording from an archeologist reciting ancient chants from “The Book of the Dead.” Once they play the recording, an evil power is unleashed and takes over Linda’s body.
