Serenity Review

Serenity is a glossy, hip Wagon Train in Space. It’s not the kind of science fiction I usually find interesting, but Whedon has added a thought provoking subtext. Even if you haven’t seen the original television series, Firefly, the story is easy to follow, and the small screen cast retains its chemistry as a dysfunctional family of rebels. But the performance of Dirty Pretty Thing’s Chewitel Ejiofor – as the deadly Operative - stands above the rest. Watch out George Lucas – here’s the next generation of interstellar heroes.
