Serving Sara Review

Joe, Matthew Perry, is a process-server based in New York. When his boss, Ray, Cedric the Entertainer, orders him to serve divorce papers on Sara, Elizabeth Hurley, his jealous co-worker, Tony, Vincent Pastore, tries to frustrate him. Sara offers Joe $1 million to serve papers instead on her philandering husband in Texas, and the chase begins. With better casting and better direction this might have been an OK comedy, but Matthew Perry doesn't work on the big screen - he looks bemused most of the time - and Elizabeth Hurley has a very limited range. The minor characters are more fun, but the film, directed by Reginald Hudlin, is very laboured and unsubtle and, in the end, pretty tiresome.
