'SNL' skewers short filmmaking and the festival Q&A in one brutal skit

Ouch.

We've been to a few awkward film festival Q&As in our time but this one takes the cake. A funny bit on this weekend's Saturday Night Live cuts a little close to home, as it focuses on the world premiere of an arty short film, and its post-screening Q&A with an exuberant cast and crew.
Emily Blunt (the guest host of the episode) stars in Qua, a very short film in which she runs through the woods and discovers… [spoiler?] herself. Afterwards, Blunt and the crew take to the stage to field questions... from an increasingly fed-up audience member (Vanessa Bayer) who clutches at straws to keep the conversation flowing...  Along the way we learn a few things about short film auteurs and the lasting impact of Richard Linklater.
