Some genius has recut the epic iguana chase video with the 'Mad Max: Fury Road' soundtrack

A tense chase scene is improved with a dose of Junkie XL.

If you, like us, have been distracting yourself from the tense final hours of the 2016 US Presidential Campaign, you would likely have come across an amazing excerpt from the BBC One documentary series Planet Earth II. It features a young iguana in a hair-raising attempt to escape the clutches of Galapagos racer snakes. The original video is heart-in-mouth stuff. But with an injection of Junkie XL, it's nothing short of magnificent.

One Greg MacLennon (@themaclennon) felt the vision of the li'l iguana's mad dash evoked the raw power of the chase scenes from Dr George's  Mad Max: Fury Road. So he fixed it, by adding the high-octane theme. And for that, we thank him.
Mad Max prequel Iguana Road was pretty solid. But it had the wrong score so I fixed it. #PlanetEarthII #MadMaxFuryRoad #JunkieXL pic.twitter.com/8rhBJpMBAO — Greg MacLennan (@themaclennan) November 7, 2016
