Species review: A monster movie that's good, silly, thrilling fun

Margaret is all in for 'Species'. David questions its political correctness.

Let's flash back to 1995 and watch Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton revel in the silly plot of Species. Both confess to getting a kick out of Roger Donaldson's "very silly but at the same time quite thrilling" story of a mad experiment gone awry. The horror thriller concerns the pursuit of a "partly human, partly we-don't-know-what" hybrid being that takes the form of the objectively attractive Natasha Henstridge, who is on the loose in the nightclubs of Los Angeles and is hellbent on procreating.

Watch The Movie Show review in its entirely above, as Margaret confesses, " I must admit I really enjoyed Species. I like being manipulated by a clever director". When it comes time for David to give his opinion, he debates the political correctness of the idea of a  "rampaging woman who goes around seducing men and killing them like some preying mantis".
