Ted Cruz seems to have an unhealthy obsession with 'The Godfather'

The bid to become the Republican presidential nomination just got a whole lot more Sicilian.

Ted Cruz is travelling around America shooting his mouth off trying to nab the Republican presidential nomination from another mouther shooter-off-er-er, Donald Trump, so you never know what they're going to say on any given day.

In an interview about his competitor, Cruz said, ”Donald needs to understand that he's not Michael Corleone. The presidency should not be La Cosa Nostra. Donald Trump keeps hiring people with records of dirty tricks, lies and threats of violence. He is not a mobster." Alright slow down there, Cruz. We get it, you've seen The Godfather.
But no, if that wasn’t bad enough, he followed it up at a town hall meeting chaired by CNN’s Anderson Cooper by admitting that The Godfather trilogy makes up some of his favourite films…

Which doesn't seem bad, but he means ALL of them.

EVEN.

The Godfather.

Part.

III.

NO ONE likes that film.

Except maybe future Republican presidential candidate and wannabe President of the United States of America, Ted Cruz.

*shudders*

Who knows what tomorrow could bring. Maybe Trump watches Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Perhaps Clinton is a Potterhead? Or Sanders loves Nickelback?

Stay tuned.
