Serhat will represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time. He is an experienced singer, songwriter, music producer, and dentist (!), and has hosted and produced television shows.
Serhat's television career began when he hosted Riziko, the Turkish version of hit the American quiz show Jeopardy. He produced the show himself and won ‘Best Television Presenter' and ‘Best Television Producer' in Turkey two years in a row.
But to Eurovision fans, Serhat is best known for representing the Republic of San Marino at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with 'I Didn't Know'. Although Serhat didn't make the Grand Final, the song reached the 25th position on the Billboard Dance Charts in the United States.
