Too subtle to intrigue.

An interesting idea that could have could have offered more.

A mysterious Parisian woman Anna (Sandrine Bonnaire) mistakenly enters the wrong door in search of therapy and her life collides with William (Fabrice Luchini), a reserved tax accountant. Before he can point her in the direction of the psychiatrist\'s office down the hall, Anna reveals the most intimate details of her dysfunctional marriage and sex life. William is now riveted but feels guilty about his voyeuristism. He eventually confesses to Anna, but she still keeps her weekly appointments.

This tale of missed opportunities suggests that we have lost the art of listening. Intriguing in its construction but ultimately frustrating as the two seem to have replaced one dysfunctional relationship for another. One awkward dance sequence, a few wardrobe changes and constantly shifting camera angles could very well drive us all to commit our own crime of passion.
