King and Conqueror
Are you ready for the historical drama of the year?
A thousand years ago, a new King of England was crowned, triggering a series of events that would change the course of English and European history forever. Two men, Harold of Wessex and Duke William of Normandy, found themselves locked in a fight for the same crown, which neither had wanted nor expected.
Though they start as allies, they meet their end as foes at the Battle of Hastings, where one of them must die.
King & Conqueror stars James Norton (Happy Valley, Playing Nice) as Harold, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones, God Is A Bullet) as William, Emily Beecham as Edith Swan-neck, and Clémence Poésy as Matilda.
King & Conqueror premieres Sunday 12 October with a two-episode premiere on SBS On Demand. Double episode drops will occur weekly every Sunday on SBS On Demand. Episodes air on SBS on Sundays and Mondays at 8.30pm.

Idea of Australia
Australia’s identity is shaped by lore – the ‘fair go,’ a multicultural haven, a sporting nation, and the values of mateship, sacrifice, and the larrikin spirit. But how much of this is reality, and how much is a story we’ve told ourselves?
Presented by Academy Award nominee Rachel Griffiths AM (Total Control, Muriel’s Wedding, Hacksaw Ridge, Brothers & Sisters), the landmark documentary event The Idea of Australia isn’t a retelling of history; it’s a re-imagining of the future. What does it really mean to be Australian, and where do we go from here?
The Idea of Australia premieres Wednesday 15 October on SBS and SBS On Demand. Episodes air weekly at SBS and SBS On Demand starting Wednesday 15 October at 7.30pm.
Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain

In Galicia, she savors a bounty of fresh seafood and world-class Galician blonde beef. Among the cider mills of Asturias, she explores the land of her ancestors and visits with family who still live in the town of Longoria to this day. Finally, audiences get a special peek into her new Spanish home in Marbella as she hosts a feast of local delicacies for her closest friends
