This Is Not A Murder Mystery

Young René Magritte's life is about to change when he's invited to participate in a private art exhibition at an opulent English estate, owned by the flamboyant Lord James. It’s 1936 and the art world is abuzz with the rise of surrealism. Fellow guests include Salvador Dali, Lee Miller, Man Ray, and Max Ernst – all artists on the brink of global fame.
But after a wild night, Magritte wakes up beside the dead body of a young woman, with no memory of the previous evening. As more bodies fall and Scotland Yard arrives to lock down the estate, Magritte must uncover the truth to clear his name.
Is everything what it seems, or nothing at all?
This Is Not A Murder Mystery premieres Thursday 4 June at SBS On Demand.
We Are Jeni
Dr Jeni Haynes remembers everything. But not in the way most people do. Jeni has dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder). Memories of the severe childhood trauma she endured are scattered across over 2,500 alter personalities (alters) – a remarkable system her mind built to survive. In an incredible world-first, when the time came to seek justice against her father, the man responsible her trauma, Jeni’s alters would be crucial to the criminal case.
Together with Jeni, Detective Paul Stamoulis, an experienced investigator who took on Jeni’s case and spent years navigating the legal labyrinth to extradite her father back to Australia to stand trial, and psychiatrist Dr. George Blair-West built a case arguing that Jeni’s condition wasn’t a barrier to truth, but rather a mechanism that preserved it. Her alters held memories with photographic clarity, remembering what happened decades ago as if it were yesterday.
In a world-first legal precedent, Jeni’s alters are allowed to testify in a trial. Jeni’s mind, once dismissed as fractured, is recognised as the very structure that preserved the evidence. A story of triumph against extreme odds, and about the power of the human mind to protect and survive, We Are Jeni reveals how Dr Jeni Haynes, and her army of alters, were finally heard.
We Are Jeni premieres Sunday 7 June at 7:30pm on SBS and SBS On Demand.

Wogball: Australia's Beautiful Game
Wogball: Australia’s Beautiful Game is the story of how football has become one of the national success stories of modern Australia. It’s a wild ride, full of unexpected stories, surprising revelations and moments of unfettered joy. It’s a story of resilience about a code that overcame institutionalised racism (under the White Australia Policy), media animosity, hostile competing codes, and, not least, themselves, to become the game that best represents who we really are as a nation.
It will be presented by Aussie Hollywood star Anthony LaPaglia, who played professionally before realising he would never fulfill his dreams and turned to the stage. Throughout the series, we are joined by sport heroes, comedians and experts, all adding to the drama and celebration. It is a surprisingly emotional story about passion and family and how football grew into something bigger than the game itself. It's nostalgic, warm, playful, a little contentious and the perfect warm up to the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Wogball: Australia's Beautiful Game premieres Wednesday 24 June at SBS and SBS On Demand. Episodes air weekly on SBS starting Wednesday 24 June at 7.30pm.
Gomorrah: The Origins

He dreams of someday just being able to live a good life, having a beautiful car, and a beautiful woman by his side. This is why he has always been fascinated by Angelo the Siren, the neighborhood's young “king.”
Angelo seems to have it all. He's handsome, charming, and charismatic. He and his friends run an American clothing store that all the city's young people go to. He also manages an underground gambling club in the neighborhood for the Villas, an old Camorra family in the center that rules Secondigliano. Pietro wants to be like him. When the gambling club is held up, Pietro wants to get noticed by him and so brings Angelo the ultimate proof that lets him bring the guilty parties and the stolen loot to Don Antonio Villa. Pietro, Angelo, and their friends are soon working on dangerous terrain and end up becoming caught in the balance of criminal powers.
Pietro ends up in the middle of a violent conflict and soon realises that the life he had dreamed of has a dark side that he hadn't considered. When he meets Imma for the first time, falling head over heels in love with her, he starts to wonder if this is what he really wants or if a different future is possible.
