What's it about?
Writer/director Clayton Jacobson went on to make the box office hit Kenny with his brother Shane. Before they demystified the world of portaloos, Clayton won the Topicana Prize when for directing (and starring in) this short about a couple, parked out the front of an adult sex store, wrestling over a horny dilemma.

Wilfred (2002)

What's it about?
Of course you know the series, but did you know it all started at Tropfest? This 2002 short is a gem of dark comedy, about a man, a dog, and a fierce battle for a woman's attention. Can they come to a compromise? Not likely.

Buried (2003)

Enzo (2004)

What's it about?
After winning Best Male Actor at Tropfest 2001 in A Matter for Life, Sam Worthington made his own short documentary in 2004. Enzo is a passionate man who hopes, thinks and knows that he has what it takes to become the best footballer in the world.

Too Far (2005)

What's it about?
Set in the dark heart of middle class suburbia, this is the tragicomic story of a paranoid father who overreacts to the perfect storm of the Y2K bug, the threat of terrorism... and water restrictions.

Carnivore Reflux (2006)

What's it about?
Over the course of an average meat-eater's lifetime, they will consume; 10 cows, ½ tonne of fish, 760 chickens, 37 sheep and 42 pigs. Beautifully narrated by Play School legend John Waters, Carnivore Reflux is an entertaining animation about meat consumption.

Pig Latin (2007)

What's it about?
Two cops startle a woman working in the garden, and so begins a story of two guys who remember that lucky kid from school who has the pool, the trampoline, the Atari and all that other cool stuff.

Monkeys (2011)

Monkeys is the second short by actor/director Joel Edgerton (responsible for the recent surprise hit thriller The Gift). The story focuses on two men, whose friendship is tested when one of them realises his mate has gone and copied his haircut.

Josh (2013)

What's it about?
A mockumentary following Josh Hemsworth and his efforts to break into the acting world by trading on his surname. Blinded by his love and adoration for all that his brothers Chris, Liam and Luke have achieved, he believes that merely sharing the same DNA will inevitably mean he is just as talented. Wrong.
