Watch: First trailer for 'Marvel's Doctor Strange'

Marvel has released an early trailer for 'Marvel's Doctor Strange', due for release in Australian cinemas on October 27, 2016.

Benedict Cumberbatch plays Stephen Vincent Strange, a former neurosurgeon who becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme and primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. The character, created by Marvel Comics artist Steve Dikto, first appeared in comic books in 1963.

Tilda Swinton plays Dr. Stephen Strange's immortal mentor, the Ancient One, who schools him in the ways of the mystical arts.  The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong and Rachel McAdams.  

Scott Derrickson directs from a script by Jon Spaihts. Marvel's Kevin Feige is producing.
