Jesse Eisenberg is Mike Howell, a stoner who works in a convenience store who doesn't know he's a highly trained sleeper agent.
But when he's activated, he becomes a powerful killing machine - much to his and girlfriend Kirsten Stewart's distress. Unable to be controlled - he kills two operatives with a spoon - he becomes a target by those who created him.

Directed by Nima Nourizadeh, American Ultra is the first film Eisenberg and Stewart have starred in together since Greg Mottola's Adventureland.
American Ultra opens in Australia on September 3.
