In the trailer for the latest Rocky film Creed, we meet the young son of boxer Apollo Creed. Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his father, but he boxing is in his blood.
"You're not built for this," he's told.
"People die in the ring. Your daddy died in the ring."
But Adonis is having none of it, no-one's taught him how to fight - he's done it all on his own.
It's the perfect set-up for Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa to pass on the gloves, mentoring the son of his former opponent.
And in the ring, the stakes are always high.
