So opines the first trailer for Sausage Party, a raunchy animated comedy from writers Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir, in which excited foodstuffs discover the grim truth about eating - and being eaten.
Sausage Party debuted as a work-in-progress cut on Monday at SXSW. You can watch the red band trailer below.
One sausage leads a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they are plucked from the supermarket shelf. The film features the voices of Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.
