Will leave you in fear of Australian beaches.

Lost Things doesn\'t compare to the sheer menace of Sewell\'s previous film, The Boys.

For four teenagers, a weekend at the beach becomes a nightmare. Directed by first timer, Martin Murphy, from Stephen Sewell\'s screenplay, Lost Things doesn\'t compare to the sheer menace of Sewell\'s previous film, The Boys. The actors grapple with often unconvincing dialogue and we struggle with the narrative itself. But for a film that was shot in only 12 days on super 16, Lost Things succeeds in showing us a claustrophobic, disturbing vision of the Australian beach - one that you might not want to visit.
