Taungurung artist Mick Harding demonstrated his wood burning techniques at the Koorie Heritage Trust in Federation Square during NAIDOC Week in Melbourne.
Mick Harding has been a wood worker all of his life and his artworks display Victoria’s unique symbolism. Mick has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and is a cultural educator and wood worker.
He practices many crafts including traditional artifact making.
Mick spoke with Kirstyn Lindsay from Living Black Radio about his techniques and design development of Victoria’s unique symbolism.
