Arabic speaking communities are among the fastest growing in Australia and they identify with more than 20 different cultures. Many are coming from war-torn countries and face significant challenges while settling in Australia. SBS's purpose is to inspire social cohesion in Australia and help new migrants feel at home.
Recent research from McNair revealed that SBS Arabic24 is currently the most listened to and trusted Arabic language radio channel for Arabic speaking Australians.
SBS Arabic24 presents Good Morning Australia from 0600 to 0800 – seven days a week, Al Bayt Baytak from 0800 to 1100 and Marhaba Australia from 1600 to 1900 weekdays. Outside of these times SBS Arabic24 is in partnership with BBC Arabic to provide Australian audiences with balanced news and information from the wider Arabic world.
