On Friday November 9, His Holiness Pope Francis received His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Sliwa, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East at the Vatican. "The Committee is beginning its work on the third phase of dialogue concerning ecclesiology and the two Churches signed a Common Statement on Sacramental Life " H.B Mar Meelis Zaia AM, the Assyrian Church of the East's Metropolitan of Australia, New Zealand and Lebanon told SBS Assyrian Program.
