Teler Deng was one of the officials considered to be the right-hand man to President Salva Kiir Myaradit. He is now relieved and appointed as ambassador to Russia. Telar will be talking to SBS Dinka about his role in the government and as the SPLA officer.


Telar Deng Ring Takphiny is the former Advisor to the President of South Sudan, former Minister in the Sudanese Government of National Unity, and now appointed to be ambassador to Russia. This is an interview with was recorded on 30/12/2014 in Nairobi and published on the 04/01/2015. 
 
Mr Telar told SBS Dinka that ‘President Kiir was surrounded by many official advisors and community leaders’ who can advise him.
