A doctor from Myanmar, working on the Thailand side of the two countries' border, is the 2013 Sydney Peace Prize winner.

Dr Cynthia Maung, an ethnic Karen, set up a medical clinic to serve the thousands of displaced people in the border area after fleeing her homeland in 1988.

Today, it has grown to more than 600 health workers helping more than 100,000 patients a year, including refugees, migrant workers and orphans.

Dr Maung talked with Ron Sutton, who asked her what she sees as the clinic's greatest accomplishment.
