Comedian Paul Fenech has added a bogan element to the Logies after his low brow SBS series Housos won the Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Program.
Malaysian-born actor Remy Hii also won the Graham Kennedy Award for most outstanding newcomer for his starring role in the SBS drama, Better Man.
Remy played convicted drug trafficker Van Tuong Nguyen in the four-part series.
As part of the prize, he wins a trip to Hollywood, a one-year scholarship at Stella Adler Academy Of Acting And Theatre in Los Angeles, and industry mentoring.
Fenech bought a bevy of bikini clad girls wearing flannelette shirts to stalk the red carpet and mock the Logies during his pre-event interviews.
He also had the last laugh when the second season of Housos beat ABC comedies It's A Date, Please Like Me and Upper Middle Bogan and the Nine Network's singing series The Voice in the peer-voted category.
In true Housos style, Fenech delivered his best bogan speech.
"We make comedy for real battlers, real people," Fenech spewed out to a stunned audience.
"We've been pumping it hard for real Aussies in Australia.
"This is a great for win for a true people of Australia....against The Voice, c'mon, Ricky Martin."
