Migrant memories on display at National Archives

The National Archives of Australia has unveiled a new photographic exhibition that details what life was like for post-war migrants who decided to call Australia home.

The display of 60 photos chronicles the good, bad and the ugly in the resettlement process.

Many of the images are drawn from the personal collections of migrants and their families.

They are from a 40-year period between the 1940s and 1980s.

The display will travel throughout Australia once the exhibition at Canberra's National Archives ends in September.
