On Anzac Day, Australians across the country commemorate those who served, fought and perished in the Australian and New Zealand forces. Over time, the significance of the day has extended to those who were on the opposite side of the battles.
Here is the Ode of Remembrance in Hmong:
Lawv yuav tsis txawj laus, li peb txawj laus;
Txawm caij nyoog thiaj lub niaj lub xyoo dhau mus los lawv tej txiaj ntsim yeej tsis tsuag.
Tsis hais hnub poob los yog hnub tuaj thaum sawv ntxov
Peb yeej tseem nco ntsoov lawv.
