Did you know, 2023 was the year the World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 was no longer a Public Health Emergency?

It was first declared back in January of 2020.

More than three years into the Pandemic the WHO Emergency Committee on COVID-19 recommended that given the disease was ongoing, it no longer fit the definition of a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. The Director-General accepted the recommendation on May 5th, 2023.
