The series has never shied away from interrogating the troubled times in which we live, and this season is no exception, as Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) tests the extent to which she can resist the new administration without testing the limits of her sanity, while Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo) and Liz Reddick-Lawrence (Audra McDonald) contend with an alarming disregard for facts among their colleagues in the legal fraternity. Meanwhile, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) juggles motherhood with a new love, and Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) is rattled by her encounters with a lawyer who personifies corruption, Roland Blum (Michael Sheen)
