We've good news for you voracious fans of The Good Fight: your favourite topical legal drama is coming back next year.

The critically acclaimed drama has been picked up for a fourth season, from co-creators Robert and Michelle King.

The Good Fight is in the middle of an incredible third season and continues to be a flagship original series for the service,” said Julie McNamara, Executive Vice President, Original Content, CBS All Access. “Its visionary creators Robert and Michelle King and the extraordinary cast continue to explore the cultural climate with insight, humour and courage, and we can’t wait to see where these indelible characters go next.”

Season 3 of the drama is now screening on SBS Wednesdays at 8:30pm, and streaming at SBS On Demand same day. The series has never shied away from interrogating the troubled times in which we live, and this season is no exception, as Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) tests the extent to which she can resist the new administration without testing the limits of her sanity, while Adrian Boseman (Delroy Lindo) and Liz Reddick-Lawrence (Audra McDonald) contend with an alarming disregard for facts among their colleagues in the legal fraternity. Meanwhile, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) juggles motherhood with a new love, and Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) is rattled by her encounters with a lawyer who personifies corruption, Roland Blum (Michael Sheen)
