A 17-year-old boy charged with the murder of a 19-year-old woman in Melbourne's C-B-D

A 17-year-old boy is expected to appear in court today charged with the murder of a 19-year-old woman at a party in Melbourne's C-B-D on Saturday.


Laa Chol died at a short-term stay apartment on the 56th floor of the E-Q Tower early on Saturday morning.

Police say the youth, from Sunshine North, was taken into custody on Monday afternoon and interviewed by the homicide squad.

He will appear in the Melbourne Children's Court later today.
