When the community works together to support ambitious youth


Many newly arrived young people face the challenge of choosing their educational or vocational path. Language and culture differences and lack of knowledge of the needs of the local labor market pose major obstacles to this category.

In an effort to overcome these challenges, the Eritrean Community in Australia is organizing a Career Night to introduce high school students to study and work opportunities in Australia. On this subject we talk to Alaa Saber, one of the organizers of the event, which began by explaining that the aim of the event is to provide Eritrean role models for young people
