26 years after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait there are people who still remember vividly what had happened on the 2nd of August of 1990. Of those Mr Afif Shahwan, a Palestinian professional who worked for years in the oil industry and led a successful life in Kuwait before the invasion, just to find himself and his family refugees again. In this interview with Iman Riman Mr Shahwan remembers life in Kuwait before and after what is is now known as the First Gulf War.
