Abdel Halim Hafez was an Egyptian singer (21 June 1929 - 30 March 1977) , and is among the most popular Egyptian singers of all time. He was also an actor , conductor , music teacher and movie producer. Abdel Halim Hafez is considered to be one of the Great Four of Egyptian and Arab music , along with Um Kulthum , Mohammad Abdel Wahab and Farid Al- Attrash. To this day his songs and films are still enjoyed immensely throughout the Arab world .
